FLY SPRAY

For applying fly spray to the face and ears of my spot, I use a car wash mitt I purchase at the dollar store for 2 dollars. The mitt is soft chenille. I apply the spray to the mitt, wipe the areas of need, then place the mitt in a zip lock bag for next time. When I use it the next day it is still moist with spray, and requires very little. The horses do not mind it and it applies a nice even coat to their ears and face. ~ from Colleen B, NASDHA member

GRASS/MANURE STAINS

I have found a product called "WOW", that cleans up those grass stains and manure marks on the white coats. I spray it on, wipe the area with a clean towel and all marks are removed. Stubborn stains may require an extra treatment. It is nice for in between baths. ~ from Colleen B, NASDHA member

WHITENING

To really whiten that shiny white on your horse, use a common household whitener called "Mrs. Stewart's". It is the best product I have ever used! be careful not to use to much or allow your horse a few hours in the sun after and you will have a beautiful white horse again. ~ from Sherry P, website visitor

I have a horse with a white sock, but it always looks brown or green! So after I bathe my horse, I sprinkle on a thick layer of Baby Powder! And It brightens, and whitens better than any other product I have ever tried! (It also leaves your horse smellin' good!)
